The Muslim College of Education is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, a university established specifically for teacher- education by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2007. This university oversees the daily operations of over 700 teacher-training institutions in Tamil Nadu. The course has a duration of two years and is divided into four semesters. As part of this course, a teacher-trainee will engage in 16 weeks of practical- teaching at a school. The Muslim College of Education provides a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) teacher-training program to a total of 100 students (Two Units).

MASTER OF EDUCATION (M.Ed.)

A Master of Education (M.Ed.) program, which is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), typically consists of coursework in several subjects, including educational psychology, curriculum creation, educational research methodologies, educational technology, and specialist fields such as special education or educational administration. The objective is to provide educators with advanced knowledge and skills to improve their teaching practice, develop their educational leadership qualities, and deepen their awareness of educational issues and policies. By successfully finishing an M.Ed. degree, individuals can unlock a wide range of job prospects in the field of education. The Muslim College of Education provides a Master of Education (M.Ed.) teacher-training program to a total of 50 students (One Unit).
This course is open to those who possess a degree and have a B.Ed qualification. A Master's degree in the basic subject is not required for admission to the M.Ed. program.
